Sarah Jessica Parker has been regarded as one of the most sought after actress in Hollywood today. What contribute to this belief are the awards she has garnered through the years. She has won Golden Globe and Emmy awards as an actress. She has also won an Emmy as a producer. Most notably, she has starred in one of the most popular television shows called Sex and the City as Carrie Bradshaw, a newspaper relationship columnist. Today, she lives in New York with her husband Matthew Broderick whom he married in May 1997. They had their first child in 2002. Parker currently advocates in promotion of craftsmanship. To promote such, she has become a member of Hollywood's Women's Political Committee and a Performing Arts Representative for UNICEF. Sarah Jessica Parker was born on March 25, 1965 in Nelsonville, Ohio but settled in New York with her seven siblings, mother, and stepfather later on.
